Job Description Lazy Bear is currently looking for Pastry Chef de Partie for our ever expanding kitchen. We are a 2 Michelin Star Restaurant serving modern American cuisine, and utilizing seasonal and high quality market ingredients. Requirements A minimum of two years of experience in a fine dining kitchen, with some Michelin background preferred. Career-minded individuals that can grow with us. California Food Handler Certification References from a previous manager/chef preferred Job Duties Include but not Limited to: Intake and putting away deliveries Setting up the kitchen and its stations Prepping mise en place and making kits for recipes Making pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, breads and potentially laminated doughs including gluten & dairy-free options Making other baked goods (tarts, choux pastry, etc) for savory Detailed prep and groundwork for larger projects Maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary work environment at all times Executing dishes for service About Lazy Bear Lazy Bear is a fine dining restaurant in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District.
